Apple Industries is proud to announce that Scott Avery, Apple Industries President and Chief Operating Officer, was honored as the “Man of the Year” at the AMOA-NY Gala, held last night at the elegant Club 101 in Manhattan. The distinguished award recognizes his outstanding leadership and contributions to the amusement industry.
Scott was joined by his loving family, including his wife Vanessa Avery, children Evelyn and Scotty, his parents Scott Avery Jr. and Sue Avery, and mother-in-law Nancy Frisina. The event was a heartfelt celebration of both personal achievement and professional impact.
The AMOA-NY “Man of the Year” award is given to individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication, vision, and leadership in the amusement industry. This year’s honoree, Scott Avery, exemplifies all of these qualities and more.

The night featured a vibrant casino night fundraiser benefiting the Sunshine Association. Guests packed the blackjack, poker, and roulette tables, with full tables until the very end of the night. Laughter, cheers, and the clatter of chips filled the room as industry friends and colleagues enjoyed the spirited atmosphere, all while supporting a meaningful cause.
In a special moment during the evening, Scott presented a one-of-a-kind gift to Allen Weisberg in appreciation of his mentorship and leadership—a rare, original Andy Warhol photo strip print, a nod to both their shared love of art and the company’s iconic photo booth legacy.
